Refund Policy

All Tips Are Final

All tips made to Retro Bionic through hotlane.app are voluntary and non-refundable. By completing a payment, you acknowledge that your tip is a voluntary contribution to the artist and that you are not guaranteed any specific outcome, including but not limited to song requests, shoutouts, or other requests submitted alongside your tip.

A service fee is applied to each transaction to cover payment processing costs and platform maintenance. This fee is non-refundable.

Song Requests and Special Requests

Tips may be accompanied by song requests or messages to the artist. These requests are made on a best-effort basis and are not guaranteed to be fulfilled. The decision to honor a request is at the sole discretion of the performing artist. An unfulfilled request does not entitle the tipper to a refund.

When We Will Issue a Refund

We will issue a refund in the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate charges: If you were charged more than once for the same tip due to a technical error, we will refund the duplicate charge(s).
  • Incorrect amounts: If a system error caused you to be charged an amount different from what was displayed at checkout, we will correct the charge.
  • Unauthorized transactions: If you believe a transaction was made without your authorization, please contact us immediately.

How to Request a Refund

If you believe you are eligible for a refund under the circumstances described above, please contact us at info@retrobionic.com within 24 hours of the transaction. Include the following information:

  • The email address used at checkout
  • The approximate date and time of the transaction
  • The amount charged
  • A brief description of the issue

Chargebacks and Disputes

We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Filing a chargeback for a legitimate, voluntary tip may result in your account being restricted from future use of the platform.
